Agritourism is a growing industry – in both senses of the word. More and more producers are inviting travelers to sample the endless bounty and entertainment our red dirt has to offer. There’s something for everyone – unwind and get in touch with a simpler time picking berries or hand making soap, or let the adrenaline flow. Taste the fruit of Oklahoma’s labor, or learn a little bit about growing your own.

A Bar Ranch

A Bar provides quality, hands on learning about the Cattle and Horse industry. It’s a family operation comprised of three divisions: commercial cow/calf operation, performance horses and livestock marketing. Both Mike and Martha Armitage grew up on cattle and ranching operations and understand the importance of raising quality livestock while being good stewards of the land. They can even take you back in time with an authentic chuck wagon dinner.  A great experience for all ages!

People travel to the community of 19,000 from surrounding states to buy the farm's unpasteurized milk and fine cheeses.
